Your initial consultation is the time that
I can explain my working methods and practices and for you to ask questions and tell me how you would like me to help you.
At the end of the consultation I will send you my hypnosis track for you to use at home.
A Typical Session
A typical hypnotherapy session lasts between 55 minutes to an hour and consists of talking psychotherapeutic techniques, exploration of how the presenting issue is affecting you and a hypnotic experience.
Solution focused hypnotherapy is closely informed by the latest research into how our brain works.
By understanding why we react the way we do and what we can do improve our responses, we can harness our brain's ability to rewire itself (Neuroplasticity) and change our lives.

The hypnotic trance is a very natural state, more similar to a daydream. The hypnotherapy part of every session is a safe and pleasant way to relax both mind and body.
About Solution Focused
SFH is a combination of hypnosis and cutting edge CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy) and NLP
(Neuro-linguistic programming) techniques. Research into the 'Solution Focused' talking therapy techniques, have shown these methods to be extremely effective. These techniques focus on the positive solutions to our problems rather than getting caught up in negative emotional thoughts and automatic reactions. By bringing together SF therapies and hypnosis, we have access to the unconscious mind which will help you enormously.
Hypnosis is a natural state of relaxation and concentration, where the mind is simultaneously relaxed and focused. In this state, time passes very quickly and is accompanied by wonderful feelings of deep relaxation of both mind and body. It is definitely not stage hypnosis and no-one will be asked to act like a chicken, I promise.
Hypnosis is more akin to daydreaming where we can help your mind find the solutions you need to move forward in your life.
